Soprano Anna Krikheli, born in 2000 in Moscow, began her musical education at the Academic Music College of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory. From 2016 to 2020 she studied there and gained her first stage experience. In the summer of 2025, the soprano completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich in the class of KS Prof. Andreas Schmidt and in the same year began her Master’s studies in the class of Melanie Männl.
Since April 2022, Anna has been a scholarship holder of Live Music Now Munich, within which she has given more than 30 solo concerts in retirement homes in Munich and the surrounding area.
She made her operatic debut on April 28, 2022, as the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at the Reaktorhalle of the University.
In July of the same year, she was awarded the scholarship of the German Stage Association, granted by the Bavarian State Association.
In the summer of 2023, she received the scholarship of the Orlandus Lassus Foundation for exceptionally talented musicians and performed as Konstanze in Mozart’s Die Entführung aus dem Serail with Kammeroper München.
In the 2024/2025 season, she sang the title role in Franz von Suppé’s operetta Die schöne Galathée in a production and adaptation by Markus Everding at the Pasinger Fabrik in Munich.
During her final Bachelor year (2024/2025), Anna also appeared as Belinda (Dido and Aeneas by Henry Purcell) and as Donna Anna (Don Giovanni by W. A. Mozart) on the stage of the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich.
In April 2025, she made her role debut as Gilda in Verdi’s Rigoletto in a production of Opera Incognita in Munich and Dorfen.
In the winter of 2025, Anna will debut as Adele (Johann Strauss: Die Fledermaus) in a concert production with the Stadtkapelle Neusäß as well as as Pamina (Mozart: Die Zauberflöte) at Kleines Theater Haar. On December 31, she will make her first appearance with the MDR Symphony Orchestra at the New Year’s Eve concert.
